Feedback and Positive Practice

Home » Strengthening Involvement » Feedback and Positive Practice

The toolkit has been developed to promote and support organisations to engage and involve people with dementia.

We want to hear your thoughts and experiences of utilising this toolkit and to share further examples of Strengthening Involvement.

Please contact us (tony.jameson-allen@csip.org.uk) and we will ensure all feedback will be used to positively shape future work and the positive practice of your service will be shared through these pages.

You can also discuss Strengthening Involvement at The Meeting Place

 Positive Practice in Involvement

"We run in partnership with our local mental health trust a Service User and Carer Reference Group which meets on a monthly basis. The group includes people with dementia and their carers and we use the meeting to inform people of potential developments, gaining their views and where possible, implement things that they request. We feed the views of the group back into the wider agenda of service development and support them to engage in any consultation events, conferences etc. We would like to build on this work at the branch."

& District Branch.  Added 28th November 2007
